Haston Floral is run by me, Michael Haston. I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. After a 20-year career in the business world in Atlanta, Chicago, DC and NYC, I decided to follow the advice my grandma gave me when I was a kid and become a florist.

In Summer of 2019, I received my certification in floral design from the New York Botanical Garden. After graduating, I interned with artist Joshua Werber who is internationally known for his live flower crowns and tiaras. I made headpieces and flower arrangements and installations for fashion shows, photo shoots, music videos, editorial shoots, television and the red carpet. 

 

I started​ Haston Floral & Event Design in my tiny apartment kitchen in New York City in October 2019. My work has been seen in Vogue, Architectural Digest, Veranda, Elle Decor, Apartment Therapy, etc. I also have the honor of being an annual presenter at the Lyndhurst Flower Show in Tarrytown, NY.

I now mostly specialize in personal home delivery on the Upper West Side, and in providing flowers for small-scale events, engagements, Central Park weddings, etc. Contact me for specific requests.
